Where did this image come from?

I took multiple images of funnel spider webs which were carpeted in the early morning hills I was walking in. Later, I took my favorite out of all of them and used it to manipulate te iages until it was fixed at the perfect point that I wanted.

A web, a brain, an entity, a network, whatever you see, it has an alien quality to it and hence the title which is  the frequency that is used when looking for extra terestials.

" The waterhole, or water hole, is an especially quiet band of the electromagnetic spectrum between 1420 and 1662 megahertz, corresponding to wavelengths of 21 and 18 centimeters, respectively. It is a popular observing frequency used by radio telescopes in radio astronomy.

The spectrum between these frequencies forms a relatively "quiet" channel in the interstellar radio noise background.

Bernard M. Oliver, who coined the term in 1971, theorized that the waterhole would be an obvious band for communication with extraterrestrial intelligence, hence the name, which is a pun: in English, a watering hole is a vernacular reference to a common place to meet and talk. Several programs involved in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, including SETI@home, search in the waterhole radio frequencies."

  • About this download

    About this digital download:

A link to the image (Max size H48 W28cms H19x W11" ) will be sent immediately upon payment.

This is a large file at 300dpi /36apx MB which can print sharp up to H48 x W28cms H19 x W11" so will fit fine inside most standard paper sizes and frames with a border.

Although you can print on to any paper, I recommend an archival fine art paper if you intend to use as an art print. An excellent choice would be Hahnemeuhle rag paper in a satin or vellum finish. https://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart.html

Printing on paper between 200 and 300gms will work in most home printers and will give your print a firm place to fix. You can also use the image for a canvas, aluminium or other print.

The image is set at the ratio of a generic tarot card size apx H12 x 7cm H5 x W3" and keeps this ratio up to the largest size so there will always be a border to your print which you can crop as you wish. Please see image of print with border.

Any problems with your download or any questions....just ask via chat on webpage or email sand451@hotmail.com
